Academy of Adventure
Academy of Adventure is a catalyst for
personal growth and change. While we are clear about our basic values and
objectives, we are not offering a magic formula with uniformed results, neither
is it an attempt to indoctrinate or dogmatist. Instead, we design and conduct
courses in ways that cause our trainees to think, act, reflect and accept
responsibility. To do this with a keen sense of veracity, the Academy of Adventure
provides just the right amount of support, guidance and instructions to ensure
that the learning process is healthy, safe and respectful of individual
differences.
Academy of Adventure facilitators care about people. They are
well trained and actively interested in both the power of the immediate
learning that takes place in a course and in the larger social and spiritual
implications of Outward Bound values.
AOA
Objective
To develop
leadership & characterize qualities using outdoor as a training medium
Methodology
The Outward Bound methodology has been
adapted by the AOA when conducting the programs of this nature. Outward bound
of course is an adventure. It is about dealing with unknown. It’s about meeting
challenges. And it’s about learning –
learning about yourself, about others, most of all about your potential. It is
about developing character, values, mental fortitude and realizing ones
potentials to the maximum.
We make a scientific assessment of the
needs of each client, and provide custom made adventure training program. This will provide learning outcomes that are
aligned with the long term corporate strategy of each client.
Our programs, which range in scope from
CEO’s to Junior Staff, provide the ideal environment for bonding to create a
platform that is ideal even for use in a company’s long term strategic planning
they include a unique debriefing technique that discusses the role each
participant has to play, in the path to the company’s objective.

Safety is on top priority for all AOA
activities. Activities are carefully
planned, tested and constantly supervised by qualified instructors. Course equipment are subject to regular
on-site safety inspection. Operating
procedures are established to ensure high safety levels. Participants are
trained on basic safety procedure, and are a vital link in making the courses
safe and enjoyable. All hazards related
to the environment, activity and physiology will be managed as per
international standards.
Each group will be accompanied by an
experienced instructor. In addition, a
Program Director, Medical Doctor and a Safety Auditor will work fulltime.
